For the Sliders
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (or brioche slider buns)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Garlic Butter Topping
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Steak
- Place the steak in the freezer for 30 minutes, then slice it paper-thin against the grain.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Sauté the Veggies
- In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter, then add onions and bell peppers.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and caramelized.
Step 3: Assemble the Sliders
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half without separating them.
- Layer with steak, sautéed veggies, and cheese.
- Place the top half of the buns back on.
Step 4: Bake the Sliders
- Brush the buns with garlic butter.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
- Slice into individual sliders and serve with cheese sauce or garlic aioli!
Notes
- Steak Tip: Freeze for easier slicing & use ribeye for max tenderness.
- Bread Tip: Lightly toast the bottom buns before assembling to prevent sogginess.
- Cheese Variations: Try pepper jack for heat or Cheez Whiz for classic Philly flavor!
