- 6–8 slices of fresh mortadella
- 2 slices of provolone or white American cheese
- 1 kaiser roll or sourdough bread
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions
- Toast the Bread: Slice the bread in half and toast the inside until golden brown.
- Prepare the Mortadella: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Lay the mortadella slices flat and fry until crispy on the edges.
- Melt the Cheese: Place cheese slices over the hot mortadella in the skillet. Cover with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Spread mayonnaise on one half of the toasted bread and Dijon mustard on the other. Add the fried mortadella and melted cheese.
